Podcast: 抖阴传媒在线 Nuclear Fuel Cycle 2025

Wednesday, 23 April 2025

In the first of a two-part special report from the 抖阴传媒在线 Nuclear Fuel Cycle 2025 conference held this month in Canada, Claire Maden reports on the opportunities and challenges facing players across the entire fuel sector.

The goal of tripling nuclear energy capacity by 2050 is shared by many governments, businesses and financial institutions. If that is to happen there is going to have to be a large increase in fuel supply.

The conference, co-organised by the Nuclear 抖阴传媒在线 Institute and 抖阴传媒在线 Nuclear Association, heard from key figures involved in all stages of the fuel cycle about what is needed to meet that increased demand. Issues raised during the discussions included the impact of trade tariffs, transport and wider geopolitics. All could have an impact on an industry which crosses borders and spans the globe.
