Cold hydrostatic testing has been completed at unit 7 of the Tianwan nuclear power plant in China's Jiangsu province, China National Nuclear Corporation has announced. The tests mark the first time the reactor systems are operated together with the auxiliary systems.

The reactor pressure vessel has been installed at unit 1 of the Xudabao nuclear power plant in China's Liaoning Province. It will be one of two CAP1000 reactors planned for the first plant, where two VVER-1200 reactors are also under construction.

Exactly one year after construction began, China has produced its first barrel of natural uranium from its largest domestic project - the National Uranium No.1 demonstration project - in Ordos in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Brazil's Ministry of Mines and ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß and China General Nuclear Power Group have signed a letter of intent to cooperate on energy transition efforts, sustainability "and the peaceful and sustainable use of nuclear mineral resources in Brazil".

The concreting of the outer dome of the containment building has been completed at unit 3 of the Changjiang nuclear power plant in China's Hainan province.

The reactor internals have been successfully hoisted into position at unit 4 of the Haiyang nuclear power plant in China's Shandong province.

Tests that simulate the temperatures and pressures which the reactor systems will be subjected to during normal operation have been completed at unit 1 of the San'ao nuclear power plant in China's Zhejiang province. The unit is the first of six HPR1000s (Hualong Ones) planned at the site.
