A newly completed definitive feasibility study for the Tiris uranium project in Mauritania has confirmed low capital operating costs for the development, Australian company Aura ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß Limited has announced.

The first samples of uranium oxide product have been produced from ore from Aura ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß's Tiris mine in Mauritania, West Africa. The yellowcake samples were produced during test work at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation's laboratories.
 

Australian company Aura ¶¶Òõ´«Ã½ÔÚÏß has been granted an exploitation licence for its Tiris uranium project in Mauritania. The licence is a precursor to full development of the north-west African project.
