Third Korean reactor taken offline as licence renewal decision awaited
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power has suspended operation of unit 4 at its Kori nuclear power plant pending a government decision to allow the country's reactors to operate beyond 40 years. Kori units 2 and 3 have already been taken offline following the expiry of their 40-year design lives.
